In addition to Troop and Crew 404, Pearland is home to many others. We support our fellow Scouts and their endeavors to the best of our abilities. Cub Scouts join Packs - Tiger Scouts through Webelos II, 1st through 5th Grades - 6 - 10 years Boy Scouts join Troops - Scout through Eagle, 5th through 12 grades - 10 - 18 years High Adventure seekers join Crews - Boys and Girls ages 14 and older through age 21 Leaders define troops. Good leaders are essential to a Scouts' path. All parents and Scouts aged 18 and up are encouraged to register as adult leaders (over 21 for Crew) and continue the scouting journey throughout their adult life. Troop 404 strives to provide several additional leadership options for both Scouts (under 18) and adults. There is a fit for everyone!!! Scouts can serve in leadership positions such as: Den Chiefs - A liaison between the Cub Scout and Boy Scout, Den Cheifs serve as peer leadership to a Cub Scout Den. Training is required, as is approval from the Scoutmaster. Junior Scoutmaster - A Junior Scoutmaster is an Eagle Ranked Scout that continues on in Scouting as an adult leader, aiding the Scoutmaster in the fluent running of the troop.
